Vegan Easter Basket

Every year I like to do a vegan Easter basket. For previous years, these blog posts reside on my old website (www.thedirtyvegan.blogspot.com), so you can still find them, along with all of my other archived content, there.

This year, I wanted to get this post published a few weeks ago to give you time to shop for these items for your basket, but I received some items too late to do that, BUT that doesn't mean you can't enjoy this vegan Easter Basket and use these ideas for other baskets (like get well, birthday, movie night, and any basket you can imagine!). It's always helpful to know about new vegan snacks or products. So let's get right into it!

Traditionally, Easter baskets are filled with candy. Yum! Some great ideas to include in a vegan Easter basket would include: candy, cookies, snacks, protein bars (for older kids and adults or kids bars like Clif Kids), trail mix; really the possibilities are endless, especially if you are going for a healthier basket, you can get healthful vegan snacks at Whole Foods.

Some basket ideas shown are: flavor-bursting Torie & Howard Candies, indulgent Missionary Chocolates confectionaries, and fun instant-brownies packets from Cherryvale Farms.

For baby and toddler baskets, healthy baby food pouches and containers, snack bars and applesauce squeezers from Plum Organics are a great idea. If you want to make the little ones an Easter or other occasion basket but feel limited or want to make a basket sans-candy or junk, these organic baby and toddler food products are the way to go.

And here's a closer look at what's inside my vegan Easter Basket:

Yummy in my tummy!

So GOOD!

Woah!

Ohhhh, yeeeaaaah!

These chocolate lego people are from Missionary Chocolates

Also, these marshmallow-filled chocolate eggs are from Missionary Chocolates too!

Yum!

Cherryvale Farms makes a bunch of awesome vegan cake mix but the products that are best for a basket are their instant packets which include brownie and other mug cakes. I thought this was a really fun and cool idea for teenagers baskets and for kiddos who are old enough to use the microwave on their own.

What are your vegan basket ideas? Please share what you are doing this year and also let me know on social media!

And if you are looking for holiday food ideas, please check out my latest project, The Dirty Vegan Cookbook. I have an awesome recipe for Italian Easter "Ham" Pie and lots of other meals and desserts too (100+ delicious recipes!).

And for now, the Dirty Vegan is signing off - Happy Easter!

*BIG THANKS TO ALL OF THE COMPANIES WHO SENT PRODUCT SAMPLES FOR THIS POST*
